My heart became my drawer. my eyes became my camera.
As I look, I describe as if I wrote it on the walls of my heart. So I will never forget.
Sometimes tears are my ink source and my heart beats are the rhythm of my song.
Sometimes silence is the picture I never took.
Every now and then, mostly now
A little girl riding a bike in circles with an umbrella, in front of an old closed shop with broken windows. Inside the shop, an old white and blue Buick and carved wood benches and bears that I see everyday.
Riding in circles, in a very hot and windy day.
She will make me write a song, on my way to pick up my kids from school.
Riding in my minivan, like everyday in straight lines. That day I wanted to be that little girl . Riding in circles holding a big white umbrella .
So I wrote a song and it went into my heart for many years.
One day, I will find pieces of it.
some of the words are long forgotten,
some of them will come clear and bright,
and then I will take a pencil.
