My name is Efrat. I Was born and raised in Israel . Now I live in the rural north country in NY state, Canton is the name of the town.

I moved to the USA 10 years ago. I met my husband in Israel, just before he left to NY.  I joined him 2 months after he left.

After one year in Queens, NY we moved to Albuquerque , NM. We lived there 5 years and had three beautiful boys.

we lived in Paris, France before we arrived to Canton. From 10 million people city to 5000 people rural village in upstate NY. little different .

Im a full time mom, ima in hebrew. My boys are  my main inspiration and my recipes approvers.

I wasn’t a vegetarian until I met my husband , he was. Until I met him, I knew nothing. Only what taste good and how much I love salad. salat in hebrew.

I jumped into it right away, drinking every piece of information and pouring it into a pot, slicing it into rings, salting it, sugaring it and mostly eating it. I became a vegetarian . Still learning and still cooking it.

the world is changing (I’m not that old). People that i never ever thought would be interested in vegan or vegetarian lifestyle are telling me this is what they would wish for.

I love these people, I love those one who are not wishing for such lifestyle.

I love to write and I love to cook.

I find peace in words.
